Terms of Service

Last updated 21 July 2026

AccuSubtitles (accusubtitles.com) is operated by Shirley Yi. By using the site you agree to these terms. Questions: support@accusubtitles.com.

The service

AccuSubtitles transcribes uploaded video/audio, uses AI to correct errors and optionally translate the result, and lets you export the subtitles. A limited free tier requires no account; buying additional credits requires signing in.

Your content

You keep all rights to whatever you upload. You're responsible for having the right to upload and process it — don't submit content you don't have permission to use, or content that's illegal, infringing, or abusive. Files and generated subtitles are automatically deleted 7 days after a job is created.

Accounts and credits

An account (via Google or an email sign-in link) is required only to purchase credits. Purchased credits are tied to your account, don't expire, and are spent automatically on jobs once your free daily limit is used. See the Refunds page for the refund policy.

Fair use

The free tier is rate-limited per IP address to keep the service sustainable. Don't attempt to circumvent these limits through automation, multiple accounts, or other means. We may suspend access for abuse.

No guarantee of accuracy

AI transcription, correction, and translation can make mistakes. The service is provided "as is," without warranty that output will be error-free or fit for any particular purpose. Review generated subtitles before relying on them for anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, AccuSubtitles is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version always applies. If changes are significant, we'll note the date below.
